Event Description
How to further protect your business from online crime
Tuesday 21 October, 09.30am - 11.30am (02 hours), ergo Business Centre
This workshop will teach you how to keep safer online at work and home through a number of simple steps that you can put in place.
It will help you to understand the different security measures available and how to prioritise which to implement. There will be interactive elements exploring password security, local data threats and informative Top Tips to take away.
No understanding of technical IT concepts is required, this workshop is not aimed at IT personnel – and is perfectly suited to professionals from a range of industry roles, sectors, and experience.
You’ll gain an insight into real life examples of cyber attacks that have happened within our region, and how cyber crime can impact significantly in many ways, not just on your business.
A thorough discussion with key learnings and takeaways will be provided around online crime and fraud for businesses in the Yorkshire area.
