Grow your business with our series of practical, in-person workshops, designed to give you the essential skills and knowledge you need to succeed. These free sessions are open to businesses based in Hull & East Yorkshire and are held at various locations across the region. Each workshop lasts between 2 to 3 hours and covers vital areas including Marketing, Finance, Legal Compliance, and Business Planning.
This workshop provides a foundation in marketing, helping you understand how to research your market, analyse competitors, and choose the right approach to reaching your customers. You’ll explore core concepts like the 4 Ps, branding, methods of marketing, and come away with the tools to build a marketing plan that works.
By the end of this session, you will:
• Know how to conduct basic market and competitor research
• Understand key marketing principles including the 4 Ps and branding
• Learn about different types of marketing and how they work together
• Identify the best route to market for your business
• Be able to create a marketing plan
• Understand the basics of selling to customers
