Is Starting A Business Right For Me?
Tuesday 26 November, 17.00pm - 20.00pm (03 hours), Driffield Business Centre
Thinking about starting a business?
Everything you wanted to know about starting a business but were afraid to ask!
Are you interested in starting your own business? If you are but don’t know where to start, then come along to one of our free business advice workshops, aimed at dispelling some of the myths around how to start a business and giving you lots of useful help and tips on how to progress your ideas. Whether you are looking to turn a hobby into a career, looking to leave your job and start up your own business or have a great idea but don’t know what to do next, our free workshops will help you understand what steps to take.
Topics cover:
• Researching my idea/s
• Writing my business plan
• Can I earn enough to make it work? Is it viable?
• Is anyone else already doing this better, faster, cheaper? My competitors
• Am I legally set up to run my business? (e.g., Can I run my business from home?)
Our team of experienced business advisers will talk you through what you need to think about and how to turn that idea into a business.
Sessions will last approximately 3 hours and will be running on various dates, at a range of venues around the East Riding of Yorkshire and places are limited so make sure you book your place now! Appropriate refreshments will be provided.
Please note, after requesting a place you will receive a registration form for Invest East Yorkshire Business Support. Ideally you will complete this form before you attend the workshop.
