HEY Made Smarter Programme : ICT Providers Network / Briefing Event

Following successful ICT Provider Events in 2024 /25; where HEY Made Smarter Team have engaged with Digital/ ICT providers – whether ICT support system, cyber security, bespoke software solutions, Manufacturing IOT and other system integration solutions directly aimed at the manufacturing sectors / clients.

The Made Smarter Team were pleased to be organising the next event:

The core aim of the network is to promote the potential collaborations with the Digital / ICT businesses as possible pathways to the manufacturing clients where we might be able to access funding streams to assist funding projects.

We sought to highlighting the two ways street of collaboration:

Finding out about the services / products which you provided as ICT business and how the Digital Manufacturing Advisor with the Made Smarter team could introduce then to our manufacturing clients to address / solve the projects.
Exploring whether your clients could access the Made Smarter funds to implement your solutions to your manufacturing clients.
We would also welcome this opportunity to promote this collaborative theme – as well as inviting additional ICT businesses into the network.

Please not this is not a sells pitch event – but where delegate could look for collaborations / synergies to work together. We hope that we have attracted business owners / senior business staff that can look / have the authority to strike up collaborations opportunities with the Made Smarter / Growing Places / University of Hull / UKSP Funds to provide introduction to their manufacturing clients – who can access support / grant to enable the ICT Providers to attract more work. A Win WIN situation.

Please note this event is not seeking to engage on this occasion with those businesses that provide website, digital marketing and /or social media activities as they are no fundable through Made Smarter.

Please note, to promote the work of the Council we wish to use photographs or images of people using or benefiting from our services or taking part in activities arranged by the Council.  Photographs will be taken during this session to promote this workshop and the support offered by the Invest East Riding Service of East Riding of Yorkshire Council. 

These images will be used in social media, in printed and electronic promotion of our service and events.  They images will be stored electronically on Council networks and will be reviewed annually.

Under the Data Protection Act 2018 / UK GDPR 2018, we require your consent to use your personal image for this purpose.  If you do not wish to consent, please advise your Business Support Representative before the session starts.

These images will NOT be used for anything which may be viewed as negative in tone or that may cause offence, embarrassment or distress.

Images may also be used to validate that the session / support took place under our UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) requirements.  These images will not be available to the general public but will be retained until at least 2035.
